Zalman — Design
Zalman leads design — client meetings, drawings, and the day-to-day decisions that shape a project, each one made as if it were his own home. He works visually before anything else: walking a space, noticing how light moves through it at different times of day, sensing where a family will actually gather versus where the plan assumes they will. It's the small decisions — a drawer height, a sightline, where a switch sits relative to a hand reaching for it — that end up mattering most once you're living with the result.
