Questions we get asked most- answered honestly
If yours isn't here, book an intro call and ask us directly.

Kitchens are where most projects start, but we design full-house cabinetry: bathroom vanities, bedroom cupboards, wardrobes, sculleries, studies, bars, entrances — designed as one coherent whole so your home feels considered from room to room.

A 20-minute intro call on Google Meet — relaxed, no commitment. We'll hear about your project, you'll get a sense of how we work, and we'll both know quickly whether it's a good fit. If it is, we book a visit to your home. After the visit, we send a rough estimate and initial layout. Happy with the direction? A 7% design fee kicks off the full design process — and it goes toward your deposit, so it's not an extra cost.

First everything we do is designed from scratch for one home — yours. We don't have a range, a catalogue, or a standard door. The design you fall in love with is the design that gets built, because our drawings specify every detail down to the millimetre before anything is manufactured.
When we say we design for real life, that's not a tagline — it's our daily reality. Your kitchen won't just photograph well. It'll work on a Tuesday night, ten years from now.

For the homes we work on, kitchens typically start around R350k and move upward depending on size, materials, and design complexity. Full-house cabinetry is a different conversation — and usually a more efficient one. The best way to get a real number is to book the intro call.

No. Some clients come with full architect's drawings, others come with a Pinterest board and a vague idea. Both work. We'll start wherever you are.

You call us and we sort it. We carry a snag list on every project and close it out before we consider the job complete. We're based in Johannesburg — we're here long after install day.

Most projects run three to four months from first conversation to final sign-off. The biggest factor isn't us — it's how quickly decisions get made during the design phase. Projects where the client is ready to decide move noticeably faster than ones where every option gets revisited. If a deadline matters to you, tell us at the first conversation and we'll be straight with you about whether it's realistic.
